A Collaborative Approach to Meaningful Change
Therapy offers a space to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that influence how you move through the world. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Sometimes the ways we’ve learned to cope, protect ourselves, or relate to others no longer serve us. Therapy can help bring greater awareness to these patterns while creating space for new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others.
I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling understood, supported, and emotionally safe enough to be vulnerable. Creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up openly and authentically is an important part of the process.
Therapeutic Approaches
During graduate school, I completed an emphasis in Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy. While my work today is not strictly nature based, I continue to value the ways that mindfulness, reflection, and connection to the outdoors can support emotional wellbeing and self-understanding.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence based approach that helps clients better understand and manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and build healthier coping strategies. DBT balances acceptance and change, helping clients develop skills related to emotional regulation, mindfulness, communication, and distress tolerance while working toward greater stability and self understanding.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we can identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, overwhelm, or self criticism while developing healthier ways of responding to difficult situations and emotions.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence based approach often used to help process traumatic or distressing experiences that continue to feel emotionally overwhelming in the present. Through guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to painful memories while supporting greater emotional regulation and healing.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with greater awareness and less judgment. It can help clients better understand their emotional experiences, slow down automatic reactions, and feel more grounded during times of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm.

Narrative Therapy explores the stories we carry about ourselves, our relationships, and our experiences. Sometimes painful memories, trauma, or self criticism can begin to shape the way we see ourselves. This approach helps create space to better understand these patterns while reconnecting with your values, strengths, and sense of identity outside of the problem.
